888Ladies has been certified as a trustworthy operation by the GamCare registered charity, assuring players of a safe and responsible virtual bingo experience.
Gibraltar-licensed 888Ladies is operated by 888 Holdings Plc, the firm behind 888 Casino On Net, Pacific Poker and 888 Sport, and has been designed especially for female players. It is promoted online and through a series of terrestrial television advertisements by popular British male comedian Vic Reeves dressed as a middle-aged woman winning at bingo.
888 was certified by the UK charity last year and has now been joined by its sister bingo site, reflecting its good practices and a commitment to the protection of players as laid out in GamCare's Code of Practice for Remote Gambling.
London-based GameCare works to develop strategies that improve the understanding of the social impacts of gambling along with promoting responsible approaches. In adition, it strives to address the needs of those adversely affected by a gambling addiction and stated that only companies implementing its guidelines receive certification.
For its part, 888 revealed that GamCare's Code of Practice for Remote Gambling was in line with its own approach as it regularly participates in social activities and encourages practices to avoid problem and underage gambling. It stated that its campaign is based on a belief that customers will enjoy games more when playing responsibly.
