As such, Davydenko, despite bringing a 24-6 mark for the season, which improved to 25-6 with his victory over Boleilli in the second round, is not a steep favorite.

In turn, Kohlschreiber is an underdog with value; long shot pushers should take heed of the German, who weighs in at No.31 in the ATP rankings and arrived in Monte Carlo with a 13-7 mark and one ATP title. Davydenko has a real chance of being upset in this round.
