Gaming Media Group has announced that it achieve record growth last year with 10,000 new registrations per month for its poker business from across Europe.

The London-based online gaming operator owns The Poker Channel along with Poker Heaven, Bingo Joy and Blackjack Heaven in addition to Heaven Affiliates, a Group-wide affiliate brand encompassing all of its brands.

The operator revealed that its Poker Heaven domain had seen a conversion rate averaging 30 percent in its top ten territories with overall group revenues in excess of $1.37 million per month. Gaming Media Group stated that it is also set to launch a new online casino at Casino Joy by the end of the month utilising its Heaven Affiliates service and featuring over 200 games from CryptoLogic.

In addition, the firm is set to debut its third consecutive game-management tool for the International Poker Network (IPN), The Player Tracker. The new device will be unavailable on any other IPN site and will allow players to replay every hand in real time while benefiting from poker tracking technology.

"Our pan-European and localised approach together with significant advances in our customer relationship management infrastructure have been key to the extensive growth in 2008," said Crispin Nieboer, Chief Executive Officer for Gaming Media Group.

"We forecast strong organic growth in 2009, not just from poker, but from our new casino and bingo products as well. We are also investigating more acquisition and joint-venture opportunities where we can utilise our infrastructure to absorb similar businesses and apply our lower cost per action, higher conversion and player lifetime values."

Gaming Media Group also announced that its television business at The Poker Channel expects to add Poland and Portugal to its distribution network during the first quarter of 2009. This will see it broadcast in over 16 million homes in 18 countries while also offering services in French, German and Dutch sometime this year.
