Genting Poker Series Gets Underway in UK

The Genting Poker Series gets underway today with the first ￡400 + 40 main event taking place at Star City Casino in Birmingham, England.

Each stop on the new tour, of which there are seven between now and December, will have a main event with a guaranteed prize pool of ￡100,000 with the ￡1,500 buy in grand final having a guaranteed prize pool of ￡200,000.

The structure of the three-day main events sees players start with 25,000 in chips and a 60 minute clock.

The tour marks another significant move by Genting into the UK poker scene having recently sponsored The Hendon Mob and bought the Fox Poker Club in London.
