Grand Prive Launches Triple Crown Challenge
May 22, 2011
The Grand Prive Group of casinos has announced the launch of its new player competition, The Triple Crown Challenge. The competition begins on 20 May 2011 and is a six round clash based on the well known Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing.
According to Sonia Bradshaw, Grand Prive spokesperson, the new competition was inspired by the exclusivity and allure of the horse racing phenomenon. "The last time the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing was won, was in 1978 and overall there have only been 11 winners, so there is always that element of rareness and distinctiveness associated with it and has horse race enthusiasts asking if this year will be the year.
"With our competition, we're offering a majestic vacation, valued at $20,000, to the winner. He or she will have a choice of attending the British Royal Ascot, South African J&B Met, or the Chinese New Year Race in Hong Kong. This is an exclusive grand prize as the winner must win all three of our Triple Crown races," says Bradshaw.
The competition consists of six races. The top ten finishers from the first race qualify for the second race, or First Crown Race, where they will compete for the crown.
"The top ten racers from the third race will qualify for the fourth race, and so on. The winner of each of the crown races will win a vacation valued at $5000. Should the same player win all three crown races, they can exchange the three prizes for the grand prize."
The casino group is also offering bonus money prizes to competitors.
"This is our third competition of the year," says Bradshaw. "In an effort to always improve the gaming experience at our casinos, we garner feedback from our players and develop our promotions accordingly. The Triple Crown Challenge is anticipated to be our best large scale promotion yet."
