Halloween Tournament Brings Thrills to Fortune Lounge Group Players
November 09, 2008
On October 31, players at the Fortune Lounge Group of casinos were invited to a 5,000 credits freeroll multiplayer slots tournament with a fun and scary Halloween theme. The Spanish invitation was themed "Dia de los Muertos" with scary skeleton mariachis and witches on broomsticks. Registration for the tournament started on Monday, October 27th, and by Friday already half the available places were filled. The tournament ran until Monday November 3. The tournament was very successful with strong participation and many prizes going to players who ranked highest on the tournament leader board.
In addition, players were invited to email their Halloween photos to be entered into a lucky draw for a share of USD 1,000. Some of the winning photos can be seen on the Fortune Lounge winners' wall.
Multiplayer slots tournaments, like the Halloween Tournament, are a Fortune Lounge first, and available at Vegas Palms Casino, Platinum Play Casino, 7 Sultans Casino and Royal Vegas Casino. Players take part in the tournaments by playing slots -- each player starts with a balance and the player with the highest total balance at the end of the tournament is the winner. Buy-in tournaments require a nominal entry fee, whereas freeroll tournaments are free.
The Fortune Lounge Group of online casinos and poker rooms now also offers multiplayer Blackjack tournaments at 7 Sultans Casino, Vegas Palms Casino, Royal Vegas Casino and Platinum Play Casino. Players play against the dealer and each other in rounds of Blackjack play. Certain rounds are elimination rounds -- the final player left at the table wins the tournament. This is another innovation from the Fortune Lounge Group.
