Rival Gaming, one of the new and exciting gambling software, has decided to no longer accept wagers from Canadian players. According to an email sent yesterday to players of Cocoa Casino, one of the casino sites powered by Rival Gaming, the company was requested by several of its suppliers to cease taking on Canadian patrons.

The decision is an unfortunate one, as Rival Gaming offer a unique new direction for online gaming. The i-slots series it has created has met with rave reviews for originality and content, as each game contains differing paths and storylines to be explored and enjoyed.

As of Saturday, February 1st, Rival Gaming powered online casinos will not accept new players from Canada. Patrons from Canada with existing accounts will no longer be allowed to deposit, and will be ruled ineligible for any bonuses or promotions.

Existing accounts will be given the month of February to play at the casinos and withdraw any funds remaining. After February 28th, Canadian accounts will no longer be accessible, either for play or to withdraw money.

Rival Gaming and its supported casinos will continue to welcome US and other players, and the change in terms should not affect any members not registered as Canadian.

It is a sad thing that North American players continue to have ongoing issues establishing relationships with internet casinos. Hopefully, the near future will bring change and openness for online gambling patrons everywhere.
