Titan Poker Awards Lords Of Poker Seats

The Titan Poker has announced that three of its players outclassed a field of almost 600 other competitors recently to win their seats to the special Lords Of Poker televised tournament taking place in Holland.

The Lords of Poker is an eight-leg tournament featuring 40 of the most professional poker players from The Netherlands alongside successful businessmen and famous sports personalities. This is the first televised poker event of its kind in Holland and will give one lucky champion the ultimate prize of a seat to all upcoming European Poker Tour, World Series Of Poker and World Poker Tour events.

Following months of preparation and freeroll tournaments, Titan Poker staged its Lords Of Poker qualifying tournament in Amsterdam on February 6 at the Beurs Van Berlage hall. It stated that the field featured a strong showing from the Dutch poker community alongside numerous television personalities.

However, when all was said and done, Elly Steijn, Paul Wijnveld, and Rik Broekhuize emerged from obscurity to claim their chance at a year's worth of free play at some of the world's most prestigious tournaments.

Steign qualified for the live event by finishing in the top eight in a Titan Poker freeroll tournament while Wijnveld, a businessman involved in corporate fashion, received his opportunity after only a few hours of virtual play.

"It feels great to be a Lord Of Poker and to get the chance to play with all the professional Dutch players and celebrities," said Steign.

"It's a great opportunity to improve my poker game amongst Holland's best players."

"One of my friends told me to play in the Lords Of Poker tournament at Titan Poker and on the first night I became one of the qualifiers for the main event in Amsterdam," said Wijnveld.
