Ultimate Bet Launches Perfect 10 Challenge
April 11, 2010
Ultimate Bet has launched its new Perfect 10 Challenge leaderboard competition that is promising to pay out a total of $100,000 between now and the end of the month.
The Perfect 10 Challenge promotion began late last week and consists of ten daily tournaments with a buy-in of eleven dollars. Players that take part in any one of the games will be automatically entered into the race for their share of $100,000 while the overall winner will walk away with $20,000 in cash.
"The launch of the Perfect 10 Challenge is the first of many new and innovative promotions set to be introduced at Ultimate Bet," said professional poker player Joe Sebok.
"Ultimate Bet has a completely revamped approach to 2010 and will be working to keep its entire community in the know about all new promotions and events. The offers will be more exciting, more unique and each one geared towards rewarding our players for playing with us like never before."
Ultimate Bet revealed that every day's games will begin from two o'clock in the afternoon New York time before finishing eight hours later with each having satellites featuring a buy-in of $2.20.
"While it's true any player can get lucky in one tournament without too much credible talent at the poker table, Ultimate Bet's leaderboard challenge is designed as an honest test of skill at the felt over the long-haul," read a statement from the Kahnawake-licensed site.
"Each player's top-ten results in the Perfect 10 Challenge events will count towards their final $100,000 leaderboard rank."
While the leaderboard's first prize is $20,000, the runner-up will walk away with $10,000 while the third-placed competitor will be awarded $5,000. In addition, those that finished in fourth through tenth will each receive $2,500 while eleventh to 20th will take away $2,000. Placing in 21st to 30th spot will earn a player $1,500, which is $500 more than they will get for finishing 31st to 40th. Finally, those that have finished in 41st to 50th will walk away richer to the tune of $500.
