VC Poker Launches Social Network League

VC Poker today launches its month-long Facebook Free Play Poker League. Each Monday and Wednesday from August 29 to September 28 a Facebook Free Play Poker League event will run with a EUR50 prize pool.

Each event will be free to enter and exclusive to Facebook'ers and password protected with a unique password attributed to each event - only Facebook'ers who have hit the "Like" button on the VC Poker Facebook Fan Page by 17:00 CET on the day of any given event will be notified of the password via a Facebook update at that time.

As well as paying out the prize pool VC Poker will also award leaderboard points to the top finishers in each event.

At the end of the league, the top 40 leaderboard finishers will win a share of the EUR1,000 leaderboard prize pool and the top 200 leaderboard finishers will secure a seat in a EUR500 freeroll on October 3, 2011.

Additionally any player that finishes "in the money" in the EUR500 freeroll and has earned a minimum of 25 VIP Points during the period of the league will be awarded free bets on Victor Chandler Sports equal in value to their winnings from the freeroll.

Elsewhere in the coming month there are 10, six-day raked hand races starting September 1 in both no-limit hold'em and pot-limit Omaha with a prize pool of EUR4,000 in each. Players simply need one of the 50 players to play in the most raked hands across low, medium, and high stakes in each race and they will be guaranteed a prize.

Finally, if sit 'n' go tournaments are your thing then you could be a winner twice over as VC Poker put up EUR30,000 in SNG Leaderboard prizes.

Again, split into three staking groups and awarding points based on the number of players and performance in the SNGs in which you play, the SNG Leaderboard's pay the top 20 finishers in each leaderboard where up to EUR3,000 can be won for finishing in 1st place.
